Culture Project will begin its season with the New York premiere of In Conflict, adapted and directed by Douglas C. Wager from Yvonne Latty's book. A portrait of Iraq War veterans speaking out on duty, loss and the fight to stay alive amid one of the most controversial conflicts in modern American history. In Conflict begin performances on September 18 at the Barrow Street Theatre and will officially open on September 24.
In Conflict will travel to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe July 31-August 25 and the Philadelphia Fringe Festival September 3 -13, before its off-Broadway premiere at Culture Project. The cast of 11, all young actors who have been with the show since it premiered last year at Temple University, are the same age as the majority of today's troops.
